Check out this photo posted by The Malignant which allegedly shows a back cover for the iPhone 7 in Space Black.

In addition to the rear cover, we also get a photo of the SIM card tray in Space Black and earlier this month we saw alleged photos of a Mute button in the color.

A space black iPhone 7 has been rumored since June but this is the first time we've seen a shell leak out. Check out these renders of the iPhone 7 in space black to get an idea of what the device might look like.

This is just my opinion but I don't think they will totally do away with the space grey color for a darker color. I think they will keep the space grey and introduce a new darker colored casing with a black screen. Maybe they'll call it space black or midnight black? If you think about it there are 3 phones with white screens (Silver, Gold and Rose Gold), and only one with black. I think they'll add a darker color with the black screen to give people a wider color option. Plus if they did get rid of space grey all together it would totally screw up their color options they now offer with the iPads, MacBooks and iPods. Definitely gonna be a new color come September. I can't wait actually. Now I won't have to blow money to get the space grey casing powder coated with a darker color like I've done with the last 2 phones.
