An all-new Apple Watch 2 will launch later this year with a faster processor, GPS, barometer, and higher capacity battery, according to a research note from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
Kuo believes the second generation Apple Watch will remain the same size as existing models but will use thinner display technology. Unfortunately, the device is not expected to get cellular connectivity until 2017.
Apple is predicted to unveil an updated first generation Apple Watch alongside the new one without the faster processor and possibly with less waterproofing. The first generation watch would see a price cut similar to how Apple cuts the price of older iPhones when launching a next generation model.
...too late apple...they will be proud to put a gps chip, baro sensor and so on on a device??? I mean the others are doing this since the millenium!!! Goodbye apple...
