Apple is pulling non-Retina MacBook Pros from its store displays, AppleInsider has discovered. The move may be a sign that Apple is planning to discontinue its legacy notebook.
While the computer is still largely in stock and available to buy, some stores are no longer putting it out for shoppers to try in person, according to a tip received by AppleInsider and confirmed with follow-up checks with several Apple Stores around the U.S.
The 13-inch non-Retina MacBook Pro hasn't been updated in 2012. It is one of the last Apple products besides the MacBook Air without a Retina display.
Apple is widely expected to unveil a new MacBook Pro later this year. Component leaks and rumors have suggested that Apple is planning to introduce a OLED Touch Bar that will replace the function keys.

I am selling a brand new unopened straight from apple non retina mid 2012 macbook pro with 4GB ram + 4 GB ram (apple ram) upgrade. It has never been used and in the box. It has been collecting dust in my apartment in the original box and shipping box from apple since I got it as a gift last year. The applecare expired June 2nd 2016 and it literally has not been used. Mint condition. contact me if you are interested. MD1011LL/A is the model with 8 GB ram.
I could be the answer. That is if you live in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Wisconsin, Alabame, Minessota, and Florida. I say these locations because they're the only ones with this prize redemption game, me. I'm found in some indoor malls and maybe chevron gas stations. In these machines (if you are lucky to find one with the prize I'm about to mention) has the modern MacBook Pro and some even have the 2011 models. You can play to win on or use a laser light to cut the zip tie holding the prize. Other than that, you're gonna have to wait for price drop.
I wonder if this means Best Buy will continue showing them because they're the only place I know that ever shows computers from any company out especially old ones like these.
