iCloud Mail and Notes Are Down for Some Users

Apple has confirmed reports that iCloud Mail and Notes are down for some users.

Multiple iCloud Services - 0.86% of users are affected
Users may be unable to send or receive mail and may also be unable to use Notes.

According to Apple's system status page the services have been experiencing difficulties for over two hours.
