Leaked Photos of iPhone 7 Chassis?

Leaked Photos of iPhone 7 Chassis?

Posted March 13, 2016 at 6:22pm by iClarified
Photos of an alleged chassis for the iPhone 7 have surfaced online, reports Nowhereelse. The images purported come from the factory of Catcher Technology.

Most notably, the chassis does not have antenna bands running across the back of the device. There are still antenna bands running along the top and bottom. This corroborates previous reports we've been hearing.

Additionally, the camera cutout is noticeably larger than on the current generation on iPhone. It's also closer to the side of the device.

Another recent iPhone 7 leak allegedly showed a case for the device that did not have a headphone jack and had what appeared to be cutouts for stereo speakers.

Apple isn't expected to unveil the iPhone 7 until this fall. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.

I really hope this is not the real chassis... It's ugly and too similar to iphone 6 and 6s

I actually think this is an improvement over the 6s design. Antenna lines look okay.

Ya it might be a Mac running Windows with an XP skin/UI because that's what the factory workers are used to working with. Instead of training them on a new system or OS.

Has no one thought that this might be the "SE" everyone's talking about. Seems a little early to start seeing iPhone 7 components and cases.

When it comes to old models being an upgrade, it may have the old style like before which means the chassis for the 5se is not yet revealed or confirmed that this isn't it's look, but also consider what else you see,mThe power button that it supposed to be on top like the old models, the headphone jack as mentioned it's not in this chas is of the 7, the sizes of the 7 and 5se compared to this judging on how small the logo is here, etc.

I kind of get where you're coming from but I highly doubt that "if" Apple releases a new so called 4 inch "SE" model, whether it be this month or in September that it will have the same look or style as the iPhone 5/5S. Just like they did with the 5C they will produce a new casing and look. If they made it look like a 5/5S then people would think they were just repurposing old leftover stock and in my opinion that would deter them from buying it. Apple is smarter than than that though. They might make it look somewhat like the style of the 6's but with some slight style changes. Like the antenna bands. Just from these pictures you can not tell that it's a chassis for a smaller or larger phone without some sort of dimensions. Also knowing if it has a headphone jack or if the power button is on the top or side. You can't see holes for either of them by just looking at these pics of the front and back. I highly doubt it's a 7 casing being leaked this early unless it's just a prototype of some kind. Also being so close to the design of the 6 also. The 7 will have a new design just like they do every two years. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. I don't think a phone will be announced at this months keynote but you never know. Maybe they're doing it to take away sales from the Samsung "S" spring releases. Maybe they're gonna start releasing a 4 inch model in the spring then the larger models in the fall every year. Every 6 months. Same goes for different iPads. Just so it doesn't take away sales from the higher prices new flagships in September. On the 21st we'll find out exactly what they have up their sleeves.

Is it just me or is the logo transparent like the Macs?

It's just you. Look at the left casing. Has an engraved insert for an apple logo just like the 6's. Apple will never make the logo light up like the MacBooks. There's no reason too.

XP is much modern looking and easy to use than the dreadful 8/10. Some still say it's still the best they've used ever. I agree.

Screw XP.. Windows 98 SE was the real deal.. Oh how I loved the Fatal Exception blue screens.. The stability of Windows 10 is absolutely no fun.. Like Trump wants to "make America great again", I want to "make windows crash again"..
