Uber to Launch UberEATS Food Delivery Service in the United States

Uber is preparing to launch 'UberEATS', its food delivery service, in the United States. The company has been testing UberEATS in Toronto and plans to expand the service across 10 cities in the U.S., reports the WSJ.

In the coming weeks, customers in such cities as Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and Austin, Texas, will be able to use a new, dedicated UberEats app to order from the full menus of dozens of local restaurants and have their food quickly delivered by an Uber driver, a company spokeswoman said in an interview.

● Speed you need: Choose a signature dish from the Instant Delivery menu and you’ll be eating in 10 minutes or less. Have something specific in mind? We’ll deliver anything from our roster of local restaurants, faster than anyone else.

● Service you love: If you have an Uber account, you’re good to go. Just select the food you want and watch it come right to you. It’s as smooth and reliable as getting a ride.
