iPhone 6s vs. iPhone 6: Time-lapse at Sunset [Video]

iPhone 6s vs. iPhone 6: Time-lapse at Sunset [Video]

Posted September 26, 2015 at 4:04am by iClarified
A comparison of time-lapse footage taken with the iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6.

Notice that the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus perform better in this low light situation.

Unfortunately, despite the iPhone 6s having support for 4K video recording, time-lapse footage is still produced in 1080p. Hopefully we will see this changed in an upcoming software update.

Play the video on a larger TV screen to see difference. Won't see much on a phone.

Why not a movie screen or a projector?

I didn't notice much of a difference. My reasons are just the crappy battery on the iPhones but calm me what you'd like. I'm not switching to anything else. Pleas Apple though. Make a real significant battery improvement. Thank you.

Use me if you don't have enough battery throughout the day. I am portable, can be worn, but I am a charger that uses movements to gain battery energy for your iPhone. Problem solved. Besides app,e tried to improve it by making iOS 9 power efficient, or better yet, turn on low power mode in settings.

Any difference spotters....? Cause honestly I'm not seeing anything significant enough for it to be a killer improvement.........

Nope, not enough new features to warrant an upgrade, but going from a 5s to 6s makes sense, I always get the s versions, started on the 3GS, then got the 4s, had my 5s stolen 2 months ago and waiting on my 6s plus to arrive in the mail

All the more reason for me to stick with my iPhone 6 Plus until next year the iPhone 7 will be introduced. There are no discernible differences between the two time lapses shown here, at least not that I can see. Who needs time lapsed video in extremely high quality anyway? My camera is not of the same specs as the one on the 6 Plus s, but Samsung already has made better cameras. For example the front cam is still not half as good as the one on my backup phone which is an outdated Samsung Galaxy S4 mini. No, Apple: you won't get your pockets filled with my money for a second time within one year. Changes made are really not spectacular enough.

I always wait every other year for the s versions to fix what new iPhones get like bendgate for example. Samsung cameras are just as good as iPhones cameras tbh. Apple can always take my money every other year.
