Android Wear Smartwatch Accepting an iPhone Call [Video]

Posted March 17, 2015 at 9:06pm by iClarified
Developer Mohammad Abu-Garbeyyeh has managed to get an Android Wear smartwatch working with the iPhone.

Today he posted a video of the smartwatch answering a call from the iPhone and previously he posted a video showing the device displaying notifications from the iPhone.

His implementation does not require a jailbroken iPhone to pair the two devices.

Answering iPhone calls with Android Wear using ANCS, jailbreak not required (phone is jailbroken, but it's not needed), because of the nature of the API used, this also means that iOS 8's actionable notifications are supported.

UI automated (with "input swipe 280 230 50 230") since my hand would probably take half the close video.

Take a look at the videos below!

It's jailbroken and the bounce affect is a tweak from Cydia called bounce or bouncy.

The messaging app jumping up and down is a jailbreak tweak. The post said the iPhone was jailbroke but doesn't need to be for the connection to work.

Seriously? You're doubting the quality of Apple watch? I'd pick it over any leading watches currently. Sure it's bulky but it just may do so much in fitness and control iphone with, and maybe help save battery life. Sitting down is hard to pull my phone out to do one things and ruins my headphone cord and this watch can probably fix that situation.

You do know that this isn't an actual iPhone, it's one of those fake iPhones with a iOS skin over android. On iPhone, the messaging app doesn't jump up and down like that
