Leaked screenshots have allegedly revealed specs for a refreshed MacBook Air.
The screenshots were posted to the forums of Feng.com. They apparently came from a 2015 MacBook Air manufactured at Foxconn.
Looking at the system information we can see that the low-end 13-inch MacBook Air (MacBookAir7,2) features an Intel Core 1.6GHz i5-5250U processor and Intel HD Graphics 6000. The machine comes with 4GB of RAM and has a resolution of 1440x900.
MacRumors notes that the notebook is running a custom version of OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 with a build number of 14C2043. The serial number comes up as invalid but that may be due to the laptop's unreleased status.
An attached chart suggests that the 13-inch MacBook will come in three configurations. The first two use the 1.6GHz Core-i5 processor with 128GB or 256GB of storage; whereas, the high-end model uses the Intel Core i7-5650U 2.2GHz processor and comes with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of flash storage.
It's possible that the refresh to the 13-inch MacBook could arrive alongside a new 12-inch Retina MacBook Air. Recently rumors have suggested that Apple will unveil the new laptop at its March 9th 'Spring Forward' press event.

Who the hell really cares about a 12" MacBook Air.... Apple please. Underpowered and may not even be equipped with a retina display. 13" MBPr is leaps and bounds better. Marketing gimmick...gimme an iPad pro 12" with action be stylus and optional keyboard.
Says the rumors that want the screen size that fits. It's like asking "who wants a bigger screen". For one thing, that's what many begged for iphone the longest time, now they're doing the same to ipad and eventually MacBooks. Why not?
