Ahead of OS X Yosemite's October launch, Apple is rolling out an updated iTunes 12 Store that brings a cleaner, flatter look.
At first, users will noticed the new iTunes 12 Store takes many design cues from iOS 7. Apple has brought a flat look that does away with shadows and textures. For instance, Apple has gotten rid of its 'card stye' layout for featured content in favor of new flat tiles. Thinner fonts have also been introduced to match OS X Yosemite's.
Buttons are now more prominent and round featuring simple outlines.
Apple is expected to launch OS X Yosemite on October 16th at a special event which could also bring new iPads and iMacs.
still haven't gotten the update on my mac..! it says iTunes 11.4 is the current version. has anyone actually updated to iTunes 12 or have apple not roll it out officially yet..?
sorry… have had every model. I and many other miss the contrast and shadows missing since iOS 6. new isn't always better. I agree again flat design sucks!
