Samsung Posts Ad Mocking Apple for 'Copying' Its Large Displays [Video]

Samsung has posted a new ad mocking Apple for 'copying' the large displays of its smartphones, claiming they invented the large display genre.
Samsung Mobile invented the large display genre, but The Next Big Thing is about more than just size. As the rest of the world catches up to the “not everyone wants a tiny screen” thing, the Galaxy Note 4 is more productive, more innovative and more fun than ever.
The company also released a series of six ads making fun of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus soon after Apple's press event.

Apple's strategy is wholistic and only includes features that meet their exacting criteria to further their strategy. If that particular feature eg NFC is not useful at the time, then they will defer. They aren't interested in being first with useless features. So Samsung fans, you can go on being smug at having features first, but Apple fans prefer the Apple's strategy that looks at the entire ecosystem. To each their own. We will see who's strategy wins out in the end.
Lol you think apple cares only about their phone stocks. They have a bunch of other stocks to fall back on. There probably way richer then samsung in the long run.
Micro USB?? For what?! 128gb of memory is enough. Dual SIM? Yes, because I swap carriers that much -- no. Wireless charging would be nice, but apple uses a premium battery so the need to keep buying new batteries is for the birds. Enjoy your koren made products.
This is called desperate advertising. It's all that Samsung knows. Just like the Samsung fans that hang out on Apple news websites like Iclarified and trash talk. See the connection?
but apple made shows what you call smart phone. apple could have release bigger screen before any one. but apple is not a messy product. apple made things better and best. compare samsung id reader vs apple id reader. samsung is crape.
Why pay premium prices for something thats already out on the market for a third of that price. ....thanks but no thanks crapple.....NFC ,1080 screen hi res camera.....to mention a few.....
It's sad that Samsung has to sell phones by making phone of Apple. If they truly believe the phone is so great show the cool features and focus on that! Not how Apple sucks because they copied Samsung with a larger screen. Not a fan of these comparing commercials. Marketing fail.
only people who buy Samsung are people who can't afford iPhones and rest assured they want iPhones too, everyone is buying an iPhone nowadays, because it's just better, one could go into details and specs, etc. but the ecosystem, the integration and the customer service and entire experience are simply better with apple. no one can deny that. but Samsung advocates will like to go into detail and explain why exactly samsung is better but at the end of the day even they will agree that the whole user experience is just better with apple. I think these new ads by samsung show just how scared they are of the new iPhones, I mean a lot of original iPhone owners moved to samsung because of the screen size, now one can fairly expect them to come back.
I really don't get what samsung is trying to do with these negative, mocking ads, if anything they make them look desperate and prove just how lost they are.in a way, the reverse-psychology is actually promoting iPhones.
I'd also like to point out that small screened iPhones
outsold all their respective samsung competitors. some might find these ads appealing but personally if I was head of marketing for samsung, I'd find a new ad agency.
Apple puts out a 5.5" phone6 plus, samsung goes to town on it. Samsung copies design and software from apple, apple just sues the living shit out of them. Samsung #umadbro?
