Apple has started sending out invitations to AppleSeed members to test iCloud for Windows beta with support for iCloud Drive. iCloud Drive was a feature first announced at WWDC, letting users store any document in the cloud.
With iCloud Drive, users can now store any type of file in iCloud and access their files from any iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC. As noted by MacRumors, AppleSeed tested that received invites for iCloud for Windows must be running Windows 7 or later.
Apple has previously released a Mac-only version of the beta to developers, however todays seed brings iCloud Drive to windows for the first time. Apple is expected to launch iOS 8 shortly after it announces two new iPhone models September 9. Reports claim that Yosemite may not launch unlit October.
