It Takes a Car to Damage the New iPhone 6 Sapphire Glass Front Panel [Video]

Posted July 10, 2014 at 10:14pm by iClarified
Check out this stress test of the new iPhone 6 sapphire glass front panel.

The front panel isn't damaged by a coin, key, knife, hammer, or screw. It's also dropped and bent but still survives. Only a car is able to damage the display.

Take a look at the video below. You may also want to check out this video examining the front panel in English.

I'm one of billy mays' inventions and this is the only thing to save an iPhone 6 screen from being broken. No joke, just look at the strength it has.

This is BOGUS!!! I've seen the same ones for a temper glass replacement. You can get one online.

It will not scratch but it will crack easier, Saphire is more brittle.

ever gotten an iphone then within a month of it inside your pockets youll see scratch marks on the screens, or if you get out of the car and you forget that the phones on your lap then bam it breaks when it drops.

This is sapphire crystal, you can't compare it to the other phones you've been clumsy with; don't put it in the same pocket as keys and if you forget it's in your lap when you get out of the car (stupid place to keep it anyway), bad luck.

If you combine with gorilla glass, it may work.

I think if they did that, it would actually lower the sapphire screen down in cracking
