Update: For some reason the Skype app for iPhone has been removed from the U.S. app store at the moment. It's still available in the Canadian store at the link below. We'll let you know as soon as it returns the U.S. store. Follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.
Can't believe that MS could take this long fixing the Skype upgrade ! But then it took them years to upgrade one of their operating systems and then that didn't work at launch and took a long time to fix ... Must be in the MS genes
MSstill haven't sorted out the Skype upgrade ! How bad is this ! They have no idea about QC no idea about stable apps in rack they don't seem to get much right !
How do they release apps with major bugs so that they have to pull them from the store? Don't they beta test? There's no excuse for that sort of thing. Either the app is ready or it's not. If it's not they should stfu about it until they have something presentable so as not to waste people's time looking for something that's not there.
Hope this is not yet another problem that MS seems to be known for when they launch or update something it rarely works right away! ... Guess they really need to sort out their QC department , if they have one ?
No, currently Skype for iPhone has been completely removed from the U.S. and U.K. app store. Both the new and old versions are gone. It could be a propagation issue or perhaps a bug was discovered. It remains on the Canadian app store and perhaps some others but we haven't gone through them all.
