No. 5: Apple Apple's (AAPL) net sales keep climbing, as the tech giant continues to sell more iPhones and digital content. But the company faces pressure in the smartphone business, as Android phones grow increasingly dominant. Meanwhile, Apple reported an annual drop in net income in fiscal year 2013, a first in more than a decade.

The HTC ONE feels premium compared to these devices. The iPhone 5S is solid, but the Galaxy S5 build quality feels less durable in comparison.

Not the most pathetic gimmick ever but the last half you had a point. The lost clearly explains who's the best when it all adds up to the jd power award, because one, is the design that good? Well judging by the speakers up from completely taking up the bezel, why not have the home button on front like iPhone to where you can scan the finger without flipping it around to see it, wait a second it came straight from iPhone just like the gold phone and true tone flash, yet how can it win, does it even have something compared to jailbreak? iPhone is and continues to be number one, HTC number 3 if you look at the sales from AT&T tmobile sprint and verizon, and galaxy number 2 even though it is terrible than HTC but still continues to be some places behind 5c.

Nothing better to offer. Once there is a bigger screen and better battery I'm going from 4s to 6 or maybe 6s.

Samsung Galaxy S5: RESELL VALUE: 53% of the original price --- iPhone 5S: RESELL VALUE: 70-85% of the original price. END of discussion...

Reason Number 15 - The most significant of all. Fact: No one should have a problem selling an old iPhone (from the original iPhone 2G to the iPhone 5); because someone will definitely buy it. It's about value.

Comparing an Iphone thats older to a new device is just not right, wait til Iphone 6 comes out and then we talk! Apple ecosystem is so much confortable than android, for ex: iMessages, iCloud, AppStore, iTunes, Software Updates, Resale Value, etc.. Its just hard to move away from that, not just phone features that nobody sees but you!

And the fingerprint scanner, talk about not trying to be iPhone.

Nothing fancy on the iPhone...it simply works and works well. Fancy features on the Android phones but never syncs correctly and never works well consistently! I'm sure it will get better as they work on it, oh, and non-quality type apps (I know, cause I have both iPhone 5S and Nexus 7 rooted)...oh well just my humble opinion. Also wondering, despite the iPhones being so expensive it's still the most phones sold in the World? hmm?

I'd rather have a phone where I can access features without having to modify it. Some of these features are built-in on other platforms.

We should talk about specs. Since jailbreaking was mentioned, rooting on Android is also a relevant comparison for enthusiasts.

This article should be named: 25 things on the iPhone that are better than the S5. Some points seem more relevant than others.

Some of these reasons are debatable. Not everyone thinks jailbreaking is the best feature of the iPhone.

#1 Quality and jailbreak!

The only reason is that the iPhone is the original and the galaxy is just a bad copy.

Well said, but jailbreak is also another reason. Over hundreds of icons to choose from, animations, add anything to apps. Now that's magic.

It literally points that out in the article. It was made by the same people that made this video.

Talk about screen specs and the fact that Android doesn't require jailbreaking for many features. Some users jailbreak iPhones to get features similar to Android.
