Apple sold more Macs and iOS Devices than Windows PCs sold during the 2013 holiday quarter, notes Benedict Evans.
A symbolic moment, this: in Q4 2013 the number of computers* sold by Apple was larger than the number of Windows PC sold globally. If you add Windows Phone to the mix they're more or less exactly equal.
The chart below really shows how important mobile has become and how far behind Microsoft is. The company just named Satya Nadella as their new CEO and acquired Nokia in an effort to boost their share of mobile.
And I supose it only counts on OEM machines with preinstalled Windows... What about motherboards and more hardware sold separately runing windows? That's a bit missleading...
You're the one acting desperate of your own words, I once owned a PC and let me tell ya, by the month the more I used it, it got worse and worse, gmail stopped for no reason to to unsolving my third party cookie problem, malware kept showing up and now I can't get out of this error with internet not working even though my router was fine but also was forever stuck in the windows 98 look. You have to pay to get the most put of PC, not macs.
Hello, if you compare creativity after you learn from the 30 years of Mac video, how 12 hours a battery doesn't make you get up much and keep walking back to the charger every 2 hours due to windows battery just to stop charging or keep walking back, but does PC even have a light up keyboard, for me I had to point the screen down to see the keys, but even the air outweighs PC even pro, look how less weight and less bulky it is compared. Try to beat that.
I have a 2009 MacBook Pro and still that machine is so reliable, dont have to do anything to it but only upgrade the Software, my Best friend has a 2009 Wndows PC and his its so slow cause its full of malware.

Although the headline is true, it is wildly misleading. It compares Apples mobile and computing platform to windows computing platform alone. If you compare both companies mobile AND computing platforms, windows clearly (according to the graph) outperforms Apple.
If you have proof, then in what way are the succeeding at? Mocking apple in every commercial over a tablet is a sign here, but if you look at speed, graphics, how ie is not even close to safari with organization, animations on sites, efficiency in many thing, etc.!
