It "sucks" when "lame" comparisons are made without proper evaluation. Listening to iTunes Radio is free and has personalization features, but requires an internet connection; always. It also has ads. Users cannot download songs for free from iTunes Radio. Comparing Beats Music's $9.99 per month rate to downloading/purchasing from iTunes, at $1.29 per song, you could download 7 songs (per month) from iTunes. By comparison, Beats Music allows the user to store unlimited songs on his/her device (for the $9.99 per month)...to listen to without an internet connection. It also offers personalization features. So, if you don't mind ads, ALWAYS have an internet connection, and seldom download (purchase) music, use iTunes Radio (or other free internet radio apps). If you want to store your music on your device because you don't always have an internet connection, and you will likely purchase more than 7 songs per month, then maybe Beats Music (or Spotify, etc.) is for you.
