Introducing the iPhone 6C [Concept Video]

SET Solution has posted an introductory video for their iPhone 6C concept. The original concept posted two weeks ago features a curved display with the 'C' in '6C' standing for curve.

The video, despite its poor English, is of impressive quality mimicking the elements of Apple's 'Plastic Perfected' ad and product introduction videos.

Other smartphone manufacturers have already launched devices with curved displays such as the Samsung Galaxy Round and the LG G Flex. Samsung is also said to be working on a smartphone with a three-side display. We have yet to hear any rumors of Apple's plan for flexible displays; however, the iWatch might be a candidate for the technology.

Whoever made the video needs to make another with his brain exploding because it's the crappiest idea. What a waste of time! Make something more realistic!

True because one of the reasons they used plastic was for a comfortable grip. Doing 6c would be bad!

Curve or not. I think the price/cost is the key factor. I am not willing to pay a lot more for the curve. The reliability is any factor. The material on LG Flex curve phone is supposed to have “self-healing” coating. I wonder if that really do what they claim.... But at least, the shape of LG Flex is make more sense than the Samsung Round.

Am I the only person who thinks that a curved display is an absolutely stupid idea? We spent years and years trying to make displays FLAT, and now make them curved again? 'Larger display in the same space'... by how much? 2mm? Curved displays are a fad, and I hope they go away real soon.

I have ZERO interest in a curved display, or even a 3 sided display. The only interesting display feature I've seen are the experimental tactile feedback displays. A long way to go, but a cool prospect.
