OtterBox has introducing the waterproof OtterBox Preserver Series available now for the Apple iPhone 5 and coming soon for the iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c and Samsung GALAXY S4.
The OtterBox Preserver Series allows smartphone users to take on life’s daily adventures and extraordinary pursuits without thinking about the safety of their devices.
This slim-line case provides the following protection: ● Waterproof: fully submergible up to 6.6 ft. for 30 minutes (IP-X8) ● Drop proof: protects device from drops up to 6.6 ft. (MIL STD 810G-516.6) ● Dust proof: blocks entry of dust and debris particles (IP-6X)
“About 70 percent of the Earth’s surface is covered in water, and technology is almost as pervasive,” said OtterBox CEO Brian Thomas. “We take our smartphones with us everywhere, and OtterBox is dedicated to making these activities as worry-free as possible. The Preserver Series is dependable, seriously waterproof protection that you can trust.”
Features: The two-piece case snaps together for easy installation. It boasts a solid plastic frame lined with device-cradling foam and overmolded bumpers to absorb and deflect shock away from the device inside. The built-in screen protector guards the vibrant display from scratches without inhibiting touch sensitivity.
Protection doesn’t come at the cost of functionality with these precision-engineered GALAXY S4 and iPhone waterproof cases. All features are fully accessible and audio quality is uncompromised. The Preserver Series includes an adjustable lanyard for convenient, confident carrying.
From the press images of the iPhone 5s case it appears that OtterBox has been able to maintain the Touch ID Fingerprint Sensor functionality of the device with its case; however, the company did not provide any specific details on this.
Lifeproof cases are fully waterproof just like the cases.... these use Lifeproof technology because Otterbox bought Lifeproof. You can hear people that use them just fine... I couldnt tell the difference
It's a material like nylon over the speaker so the water doesn't get through, the sound sounds just fine. but if you're saying there's some kind of distortion yes of course there is I guess but it's the kind of distortion that you will never care about because you're listening to a tiny speaker on a tablet, no possible way you can complain, there's no possible way you would have an issue there's no possible reason anybody could complain about such a low level of sound seriously... And I have one for my iPad 3 works fine in my pool all day video of hot girls in thongs lol yup it's a keeper!
It sounds the same music does not sound different in less your a robot and you can hear frequencies no one else can lol... Anyway I love this thing that is the lifeproof... Best thing I ever got for my iPad & my the new Bose mini speaker! Love my toys lol... Anyway get it dude it's awsome!
