Here's a look at the new Notification Center that comes with iOS 7. More details on iOS 7 and where to download it can be found here.
Notification Center lets you know about new mail, missed calls, to-dos that need doing, and more. And a new feature called Today gives you a convenient summary of, well, today. One glance at your iPhone and you’ll know if it’s a certain someone’s birthday, if you’ll need an umbrella or if traffic will slow down your commute. You’ll even get a heads-up on tomorrow. You can access Notification Center from any screen, including the Lock screen. Just swipe down. And get up to speed.
Open Notification Center: Swipe down from the top edge of the screen.
Today Tab: The Today tab offers a summary of the day’s events - such as the weather forecast, appointments, traffic, birthdays, stock quotes, and even a quick summary of what’s coming up tomorrow.
All Tab: Let's you view all your alerts grouped by app.
Missed Tab: Let's you see the alerts you have not yet addressed.
You can tap an alert to open the app or you can tap the (x) then the (clear) button to remove all of an app's alerts.
It's feels a little bulky. In iOS 6 things did not look bulky or jumbo in the notification center. Sentences where more compact and streamlined. Now there is too much space between sentences and sections are too far apart. - though the design idea is nice but it needs to be tided up a bit.
i think its no longer exclusive kind of thing, its mix of windows and android but with more details to it... no originality anymore, whats with colors, its no longer can be classed as a business class phone, this os is only suitable for 5c i think, and 5 and 5s should have an option of themes at least. two bloody themes old ( updated slightly) and new (the ios7). my point of view
'I think' Steve's passing has them all shocked, and all wondering where to go next with the beast. The new looks are all windows-ish and thats probably the safest road for them, for now.
I hate iOS 7! Everything is so light and grey you don't know where to touch. By eliminating the bevels and shadows everything looks flat and boring. Steve would have hated this.
