Apple Will Not Release a Retina iPad Mini Until Next Year?

Previous rumors indicated Apple was still debating a Retina display for the new iPad mini, but new sources claim that shortages of Retina display panels have pushed any plans into early 2014. Apple had been hoping to launch a Retina iPad during the fourth quarter of 2013.

Translated:

Looks like I'm not buying a mini for a while. Too bad. There's no way I'm shelling out good money for that low res screen they should have never launched in the first place.

It's generation one, and for gamers, ipad mini is easier to use for them, you might wanna think twice about that in the first place.

Major screw up, and likely to kill sales of the mini. Who wants a new device that only utilizes 3 year old techology? All of Apple's other devices are all Retina display. I wouldn't buy it in this case. They'll have to offer some amazing new features to make it worth buying, and then it'll have to be in addition to what the iPad maxi and the iPhone have.
