While I can understand Apple taking a new direction in design, all of this white is hard on my eyes. I truly hope that with the new design there is a way to change the color pallet to suit those who don't like it all white. The flat colors of the icons and lay out does remind me of windows 8 and android too much, I want an Apple device not another looking like all those already out there. No matter who stole from whom, it just doesn't fit right...going with what is popular isn't always the best way to go. Above all looks wont matter if performance isn't improved There are many Cydia tweaks apart from the iblacklist tweak that apple should bring on board there iOS; AltKeyboard Auxo Exigency CallBar Activator Zephyr LowPowerBanner I will wait and see what pro & cons this new iOS 7 shall bring because there is bound to be headaches.

Why a siri redesign, apple, I hope you also feature a on off feature for flat theme so iOS 7 can be back to it' if we choose to. looks like the other versions of iphone.

Everywhere white background :( it strains the eyes. btw thanks to apple for control center, where we can adjust the brightness for each app quickly (until jailbreak is available) :) ha aha ha.

People keep saying this looks like windows? My friend has a win8 n shit that thing is trash, everybody on androids keeps telling her that shit is ugly n makes no sense! I mean she's going to get rid of it because she lets her daughter play games on it and use for other stuff, but her daughter can't figure out what to do now? so she has to set it up for her first. On her old iPhone 4S or Android she just gives that to her kid n it was good to go. But after today she called me up & was like its time, this family is going back to iPhone lol... Basically her and her daughter looked at the Keynote and her daughter was like "Mom can we get that? Ill know how to use that!" iOS is not made just for kids to use, its just like android just simpler.

ios is not late.. they are on a right track, right place and a right time... all smartphone built because of iPhone.. remember!!! without iPhone(iOS) there's no smartphone right now that copies iphone... haters will be haters... accept the fact..

windows is always copying apple... ios OS is the best because there's no lag or hanging up.. just like android is always lag... like my xperia.. but my 4s no lag at all...

iOS 6 Spring Board is more beautiful than this one. iOS 7 looks like Windows Phone, it has simple design with sharp texts, just like WP.

It's a clean design which appeals to my sense of aesthetics and is more in line with the hardware. Still won't change though, until a jailbreak is available.

These changes for me are very welcome. It creates a clean, unified experience. I'm quite disappointed that we've still got the grid of tiles as the basic springboard experience, I hoped Jony might come up with something a bit more exciting and revolutionary as a homepage, but then the tiles are efficient. Changing the core way that iOS functions would alienate 75% of those using it to please the 5% who want something different. The new features look great. I'm glad we've got control centre now. It makes sense to have those controls separate to the notification bar as you'd get on android. Multitasking looks much better too.

Looks like Android, I prefer iOS 6, this is why I stick with iphone. Should have improved and stayed with the same interface.

Yes it looks more like android or WP. That's not a bad thing though! There are two main reasons why people jump ship from iOS to the rivals. 1. Bigger screen 2. More interesting interface. iOS has been getting more and more stale whilst the competition is free to update their look every year, its no question that the competition - android and WP look much cleaner and more interesting. I don't believe they are necessarily better, but they do look better.

How does a clean, unified UI translate to girly? Must be all the new features in iOS7 where when you go into the camera app it now instructs you to pout, when you go into the stocks app its an interactive 3D experience of scatter cushions, and when you go into the maps app it doesn't have a clue. If it were a complete mess, automatically ignored calls from your mother and the message tone was a fart noise, would that make it more manly? Is that what you're looking for in a phone?
