Apple has allegedly filed for a trademark on the term 'iWatch' in Russia, according to Izvestia.
The application was reportedly filed in two classes of the International Classification of Goods and Services (Nice Classification) - 9(computer) and 14 (watch). The site also says that Apple first registered the iWatch trademark in Jamaica on December 3, 2012.
Thus far we haven't been able to confirm these applications; however, Apple's development of an iWatch has been widely rumored. Bloomberg said the company has 100 designers working on it and some are expecting Apple to release the device as early as this year.
