Check out these new iPhone concept renderings featuring a plastic casing in ten different colors.
The renderings were created by 3D modeler Ferry Passcheir for 9to5Mac. They're based on rumors of a low cost iPhone with a polycarbonate shell and alleged leaks.
Since we didn’t know which colors to pick, we decided to do ten. Tactus claimed to have the plastic shell so we threw in a little of that as well. We then fed it to one of our favorite 3D modelers Ferry Passchier. He did an incredible job combining the reports into a realistic render with the color options above. He also provided us with a real life render below.
Check out the renderings and let us know what you think in the comments. You can also check out a couple other concepts for the low cost iPhone here and here.
Wtf is wrong with iclarifiedweb page? every time i scroll it down that force me to go to the page that has crappy samsung product??? Is that just on purpose or what? Fix it please because it is really annoying
I am using Iphone since the 2G version, and now i have Iphone 5 , and i don't feel apple is giving me what i paid for , its not user friendly its just for show off , and I like to show off :-)
if they make iPod with 4G , i wouldn't buy iPhone any more !
Yes you are right, the plastic colors make the phone look cheap, but that's because it is cheap, hence the reference to "low-cost iPhone" The difference is that Samsung S4 is supposed to be their flagship device and it only comes in plastic, not marketed as a low cost alternative to a premium version.
So true. The difference is apple markets it as Low Cost and doesn't try to pass it as an over priced premium phone like Samsung. Lol. There will be choices though.
my thoughts are was apple wasting money making expensive cases for previous iphones since they build it every year and some people cover them up with cases ! Or are they making a mistake changing the aesthetics ! is this a step backwards to HTC ONE's phone ?
Somehow I feel this would be less fragile and more durable than glass/aluminum casing. at least damages like glass cracks are eliminated for one side of the phone. Lol
