Trial production of a thinner iPad mini with Retina Display and a A6X processor is reportedly underway with a rumored release date of March 2013.
Macotakara relays a Chinese ZOL report that claims "according to my inside source, iPad(5th) may be released in March, 2013."
A rough translation:
Source told that, design of this new iPad will be like iPad mini in detail, and be thinner and lightweight. (The expectation comes to have a small 4mm in height, 17mm in width, depth 2mm). To convey a different article, trial production of iPad mini (2nd generation) has been started. LCD display is 7.9 inches, it (326ppi) 2048 x 1536 pixels, it seems that will be equipped with a A6X processor such as iPad (4th generation).
Its recently been speculated that Apple may be moving to a semi-annual release cycle for its products which would see the iPhone and iPad receive one major and one minor update each year.
What I hate most about Samsung is that their users like to go see review on other devices (mostly apple) and keep saying "Samsung is better, Samsung is better, Samsung is better"
Retina Retina. They have not improved with Retina though. Still same from very beginning. Samsung improves their devices AMOLED evrytime they release something new.
This is very true. And if he/she or it, works for Apple, then he/she or it, should know that every employee must sign a NDA Contract before they work for Apple. So by this person being here and informed us that its bogus news is telling everyone that Apple will not release such device thus breaking the NDA Contract agreement and can be sued for Breach of contract and Business Negligence.
Even though it is out selling the 4th gen iPad, I think they didn't put a retina display in the mini because they thought people would buy that, at a lower price, instead of the regular iPad.
