Apple Highlights Passbook Enabled Apps

Posted September 19, 2012 at 9:19pm by iClarified
Apple has created a page highlighting Passbook enabled apps in the mobile App Store.

The apps include: Fandango, Live Nation, Lufthansa, MLB, Sephora, Ticketmaster, and Walgreens.

You can access the page by opening Passbook and tapping the App Store button.

If you got the cannot connect error, just go to settings and change the iphone date for 1 year (2013), try it than ... and return it afterwards ...

I cab't believe how poorly executed passbook is. Tap on the appstore icon and go to add Fandango. It installs the app but nothing in passbook. I hear that you can send bought ticjets there though. (Unconfirmed). Try the wallgreens app abd signed up and it adds the card to passbook. Download Target and it installs the app. I enable mobile coupons but they're scanned from the App and nothing is added to passbook. WTF??? And this is supposed to be intuitive? Not to mention where are the apps fron the keynote? Oh and once you have a card installed in passbook it's impossible to see the supposedly passbook enabled apps in the app store because the cards take over the screen from the start up screen so you can't get to the button for the app store and an appstore search for passbook returns the wrong results. Am I wrong by saying this this shouldn't be this difficult? This is Apple's bread and butter. Easy to use interface=FAIL! Intuitive design=FAIL! User Accessability=FAIL! Steve would NEVER have let this be put on any device for any reason.

It doesn't even work or I'm doing something wrong. Everytime I go to launch to App Store says I can't connect. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong. ???

If this news is useless, then why did you open it up in the first place. No one needs a person who comments negative stuff about a really great and successful website. And no one needs visits from people like you. Keep negative comments to yourself and get out of here before someone gets hurt.

I like Passbook but it doesn't integrate what I already have. Which is my best buy card, gerocery store loyalty cards, etc.

I actually got my bestbuy card on, just look up passcode ios 6, and there is a 3rd party website, and it is amazing. :-)
