Twittelator Pro 3.3.1 Released

Twitter has turned on Geotagging of Tweets and automatic ReTweeting and Stone Design's top-selling iPhone Twitter client Twittelator Pro currently shipping version 3.3.1 is the first iPhone Twitter client to take full advantage of both features.

Geotagging allows users to optionally attach a latitude and longitude to each tweet - and in Twittelator, you can tap the tweet to see a map of where it originated or use the Nearby search to find tweeters near you or any location on the planet. You can toggle the geotagging on or off at tweet time.

Twitter's new ReTweet feature was also 100% deployed today, and Twittelator lets you create these new "official" ReTweets, as well as monitor ReTweet's of yours that are ReTweeted, and see the ones that you ReTweet or are ReTweeted to you.

Why is a lot of "news" on the site not new? Version 3.3.1 has been out for almost a month. Yet it's reported today ?!?

I know right. I had to keep reading the headline over & over to make sure iwasn't seeing an error. I guess since Twitter released the new retweet feature @ Twittelator already had this feature available before Twitter put it in rotation. But this site is very late on Twittelator's update.

The story is news, but the headline is wrong. The news is that Twitter has officially turned on the new features for all, the story is that Twittelator already supports it, whereas others don't yet (?). Headline should be more like "Twitter turns on RT and GeoTagging - Twittelator already supports."
