Following a limited time price drop on all its USB-C adapters, Apple has dropped the price of the recently announced LG UltraFine 5K and 4K displays.

The UltraFine 4K display now costs $524.00 down from $699.95. The UltraFine 5K is now $974.00 down from $1,299.95. The price drop is valid from now until December 31, 2016.

The UltraFine 5K uses a single Thunderbolt 3 cable (included) to provide up to 85W of charging power to your MacBook Pro with Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports. Three downstream USB-C ports (5 Gbps) offer additional connectivity and power to compatible devices and accessories.

Apple has lowered its price on USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 related items in an attempt to appease some professional users who are upset that they can no longer connect their devices to the new MacBook Pro without purchasing a slew of new cables and adapters.
