Amazon has posted video and photos revealing how its future Prime Air drone delivery system will work.

We're excited about Prime Air — a future delivery system from Amazon designed to safely get packages to customers in 30 minutes or less using small unmanned aerial vehicles, also called drones. Prime Air has great potential to enhance the services we already provide to millions of customers by providing rapid parcel delivery that will also increase the overall safety and efficiency of the transportation system. Putting Prime Air into service will take some time, but we will deploy when we have the regulatory support needed to realize our vision.

Nice idea, only thing is imagine a bunch of stores are sending drones into the air per day. Im sure the technology would be good enough to fight high winds and even storms and I like the idea of getting small things delivered - irrespective how - as it saves me ALOT of time and money going out all the time. Drones are here to stay and somehow they need to find a place in this world just like all technology has (mobile devices and even cars). The world will change and adapt and one day our grand kids will be like "You mean you had to drive all the way to the store for a loaf ob bread?!!"

I hope I can shoot that out of the sky since it's location tracked and steal it in time to disable tracking.

It would have probably sent the last known location to where you attempted to shoot it down, and if you were caught you probably would be facing jail time
