PCMag Declares the iPhone 5 as 'The Fastest Smartphone in the Land'

After running the iPhone 5 through five different benchmark tests, PCMag declares it 'the fastest smartphone in the land'.
Sunspider, Browsermark, and Guimark 3 Bitmap were used to test Web browser performance. Geekbench was used to benchmark the processor and GLBenchmark 2.5 was used to test graphics.
PCMag found that the iPhone 5 outperformed all previous iPhones, the Samsung Galaxy S III, and the Motorola Droid Razr M.
A phone's hardware performance can't be taken in isolation, but it's definitely a piece of the puzzle. Based on these benchmarks, the iPhone 5 lives up to the promise of being twice as fast as the iPhone 4S. It's also, for now, the fastest handheld computer sold in the US.

So how can you explain the ads saying that SGS 3 is a quadcore phone with 2 GB of RAM. So it is a non sense pure advertising that doesnt live to what is expected to.
Oh well, maybe the promise of you can open application faster with SGS 3 Lol.
Next time geek person who rely more on specifications of technology, better luck with a failed promise.
Samsung uses a quadcore processor wich is overkill and the majority of the apps dont even support it. The processor in a iPhone however is not that important as in the androids, since the gpu is processing almost aeverything in the iPhone. Last I checked the iPhone GPU spec is far better than the S3's. Remeber, Samsung is selling hardware but Apple is selling software and can optimize the coding to the metal a lot better. stop this insane flame war, soon the new androids will be better and then iPhone and then android and then android and then iPhone ... .. . ..

I'll be interested in seeing how the new Windows Phone does, if it ever appears. (I'm assuming the BlackBerry never will!). And hey, Apple, I'll accept that offer! That'll make my shit worth more than I'm currently paying for my iPhone every month!
